Therapy Dog Owners are volunteers who bring their well-mannered dogs to residents of nursing homes, assisted living and rehabilitation facilities in the area.  Therapy dogs help to  provide comfort and healing to those in need.

There are several Therapy Dog Programs available in the Northern Virginia Area.  In order to join most programs, your dog must be at least one year old and have passed the Canine Good Citizen Test (this test is available at All About Dogs).
